VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

There are very few mentions of children in the New Testament, especially in contrast to the many Biblical characters, stories, and lessons involving children found in the Old Testament. Despite the paucity of references to children or childhood in the testaments and letters written by the apostles, there is absolutely no question about the favor, tenderness, and importance which Jesus Christ had for children.

Based on the first four verses of the 18th chapter of Matthew, Mt. Horeb Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas will offer a 3-day study of Christ Jesus’ teaching on the relationship between children, humility, and The Kingdom of God entitled, Jesus Is Calling.

Jesus Is Calling is based on Matthew 18:1-4, emphasizing the humility associated with the dependency, obedience, and innocence of childhood. Correcting His disciples’ expectations and definitions of being “great” in The Kingdom of God, Jesus called a little child and delivered His Father’s Truth about greatness.

As a 3-day, remote Vacation Bible School (VBS), you can experience Jesus Is Calling and immerse yourself virtually in an ageless lesson about how to prioritize life according to Kingdom values.

To participate in this 3-day, Jesus Is Calling Vacation Bible School:

1. Download the VBS enrollment form, complete and submit no later than 11 p.m. CST on Friday, June 25, 2021.

2. Accept the VBS evite that will be sent to the email address provided on your enrollment form no later than Sunday, June 27, 2021.

3. Use the virtual event link provided to you and log into your class; however, you will not receive the virtual event link if your enrollment form is submitted after June 25th OR if you fail to accept the evite.
